Chairman Len Martin called the meeting to order at 7:14 p.m. Eastern, and the meeting was opened with prayer. All 12 Council of Elders (Council) members were present.

Potential Congregation Building Purchase in Kingsport, TN—Jay Ledbetter

The pastor of the Kingsport, Tennessee congregation, Jay Ledbetter, presented the potential of purchasing a building for this congregation. The property and building were discussed and questions were asked for about 30 minutes. The Council unanimously approved of its purchase.

The Council went into planned executive session at 7:47 p.m. to discuss a request by Ministerial and Member Services for a potential hire.

The Council adjourned at 8:02 p.m.
